When reading the book, I thought that Estella was a mean little girl, since she lived with a woman who was stuck in a time, and who even says that she brought Pip to play with her so she can practice being horrible to, so when she finally meets a man who loves her she can break his heart just like Miss Havisham's heart broke the day she got jilted at the altar.

Because of the way that Estella has been brought up, she is also very quick to judge someone just by their looks without getting to know them, I thought this straight away after reading the bit where she comments on Pip's appearance especially on his hands and boots.

As Estella gets older I also thought that she would have some problems as she had grown up around Miss Havisham as she clearly has some problems, and as Estella grows up i can image her cruelty gets worse as she becomes more confident with the way she is presented.
