Is an injury appearing on the skin in which it can discolour the skin on the body. Its caused by a blow or impact rupturing underlying blood vessels. When a bruise first appears it will be red, after a couple of days the bruise turns a blue/purple colour as the red blood cells break down and start to move into the surrounding tissue, creating a darkened patches. By about day 6 the bruise would have gone to a green colour as the tissue is healing itself. By about day 8 or 9 the colour of the skin is a yellow/brown colour as the skin is almost healed and the bruise has gone.

CUTS:

A cut is an open wound on the skin, which is caused by a sharp edge either by a tool or an object, When someone first cuts themselves it can either bleed a lot or not very much depending on what they cut themselves on as well as how big and deep the cut is. The skin will proceed to heal itself, and the cut will scan over, and can heal completely without leaving a scar.
