Written by: Andrews Davies, Charles Dickens

Bleak House is a mini tv series in 2005 based from Charles Dickens, which was published in 20 instalments throughout 18 months.

The image below, it is off the character Lady Dedlock played by Gillian Anderson, the hairstyles in this image is based around the mid of the Victorian era as the curls haven't stopped at the cheeks they have gone dropped down a little bit, where they almost touch the shoulders, because of this change, it had changed the way women were looking as it was seen more romantic. They still kept the dead straight middle parting, as well as having a bun at the back of the head, in which they would either plait and twisting it into a bun or just in a simple bun.

The image below, it is off the character Ada Clare played by Carey Mulligan, her hair style in this is very different to that of Lady Dedlock. The hairstyles are of the latter part of the Victorian era this is because the curls at the side of the head are not at the cheeks anymore, they hang looser, going past the shoulder. Although the hair styles have changed quite a bit since the start of the Victorian era, they still have the middle parting.
